BillSobey published Rob Baxter delighted by Exeter Chiefs' win over London Welsh

Exeter Chiefs ended a run of five Aviva Premiership games without a win by beating London Welsh 47-16 at Sandy Park.

Fly-half Gareth Steenson kicked 22 points for the Devon side who also scored five tries through Jack Yeandle, Tom Hayes, Damian Welch, Sireli Naqelevuki and Jack Nowell.

The victory maintained Chiefs eighth-placed position in the Premiership table.

Head coach Rob Baxter said: "We got the ball to the men in try-scoring positions effectively today. What you saw today was us finishing a lot of the opportunities we created."
